The 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift has been spotted fully undisguised before its launch.
A test version of the upcoming 2026 Punch EV was spotted without any camouflage on Indian roads. Tata introduced the facelifted Punch EV last week by only showcasing its front-end design. However, these new spy shots have fully revealed the Punch EV facelift from each angle.
2026 Tata Punch EV Facelift Design
At the front, the new Punch EV facelift houses a redesigned bumper without any black trim and air intakes, thus integrating the main headlight in the current model, resulting in a more cleaner yet sophisticated appearance. The air dam and skid plates are also updated, while the Y-shaped LED DRLs and center charging flap remain the same.
However, there are no changes to the side profile of the 2026 Punch EV facelift, but there is an addition of new aero-optimised alloy wheels in certain variants. The test version was spotted with a new Fearless Red dual-tone (Black Roof) colour shade. There will also be an option of brown and bright yellow colour options for the Punch EV facelift.
Moving towards the rear, the Punch EV features a connected LED lightbar from the ICE-powered Punch facelift introduced in January 2026. The rear bumper of the Punch EV is also similar to the ICE version.
2026 Tata Punch EV Facelift Battery & Power
POWER: Mechanically, there are no changes as the new Punch EV will be powered by the same 25 kWh and 35 kWh battery pack options integrated with a single front-mounted electric motor. With the 25 kWh battery pack, the electric motor will churn a maximum power of 82 Hp and 114 Nm of peak torque.
The substantial 35 kWh battery pack will produce a peak power of 122 HP and 190 Nm of peak torque. The ARAI-claimed range for the Punch EV is 265 Km for the smaller 25 kWh variant and 365 Km for the bigger 35 kWh variant.

2026 Punch EV Facelift Estimated Price
Currently, the Punch EV is available at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.44 lakh. With this mid-lifecycle update to its styling and addition of new features, the Punch EV facelift is expected to witness a mild hike in the original prices. The updated Punch EV could compete with the Citroen eC3.
