Cargo Matters has invested Rs 66 crore in establishing an EV charging network throughout South India.
Cargo Matters, which is a Delhi-based logistics company, is all set to invest Rs 66 crore in order to develop an electric vehicle charging network across South India. The company has entered into a strategic alliance with TRYK Charge Services LLP, which is an EV infrastructure provider, for the installation and deployment of their charging network.
The proposed investment will be further allocated to install more than 550 grid-enabled and solar charging stations across states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. The network will comprise 360 kW DC fast chargers, capable of CCS2, CHAdeMO, and AC charging.
The companies will be also working in a joint cooperation with electric bus and truck manufacturers in order to install charging stations at fleet depots, bus terminals and freight corridors. The infrastructure will be further operated by a Charge Point Operator (CPO) with features like real-time analytics, remote monitoring, and compliance with OCPP 1.6, OCPP 2.1, and OCPI protocols.
