Kia Seltos Hybrid 2026 Unveiled: Paris Motor Show Debut & India Launch Timeline 

Kia has unveiled the much-awaited Seltos Hybrid at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, which is scheduled to arrive in 2027. When Kia India unveiled its next-generation Seltos, Atul Sood, the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, shared his perspective on the matter, stating, “The New Setlos will be also coming with a hybrid system.”

Kia Seltos Hybrid Technical Specs

• Engine: The Kia Seltos Hybrid will be powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine generating 102 Hp of maximum power output and 141 Nm of peak torque.
• E-MOTOR: It also comes equipped with an e-motor generating 129 Hp and 388 Nm of peak torque.
• WLTP-Mileage: According to Kia, the Seltos Hybrid will provide a WLTP-certified mileage of 14.71 km/l for the Seltos Hybrid and can also be purely driven on electric power. It will be paired with a 6-Speed DCT, with All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration.

Kia Seltos Hybrid Design & Interiors

The displayed model was the top-spec X-Line variant that is largely similar to the India-spec Seltos. It features identical grill-mounted square-shaped LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and a two-tone front bumper combining gloss black cladding with striking silver accents.

The side gets a rising window line and a continuous silver trim placed above the side windows. Additional design features showcase sleek gloss black wheel arches, streamlined flush door handles, and striking 18-inch black alloy wheels.

The back gets the same connected LED tail-lamp setup with L-shaped signatures. The bumper is similar to the ICE-model and gets silver inserts. However, there are some additional features such as a powered tailgate, which is missing in the Indian version, but it doesn’t get a spare wheel due to the battery placement under the boot floor.

INTERIORS

• The hybrid models get a repositioned gear lever positioned on the steering wheel, which is at the center console in the ICE-Seltos.
• The center console has opened up more space, which comes with the addition of cup holders.
• It also gets an all-black interior theme, triple-screen setup, heads-up display, metal pedals, wireless phone charger, and leatherette seat upholstery.
