Mahindra Launches UDO Passenger e-3W | Priced at Rs 3.58 lakh

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has unveiled their new passenger electric three-wheeler, the Mahindra UDO at a starting price of Rs 3,58,999. The recently launched UDO is completely underpinned by full monocoque construction architecture and features independent rear suspension and dual fork front suspension. 

Mahindra UDO Technical Details

POWER: The Mahindra UDO is powered by 11.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is IP67-certified. Mahindra claims a real-world range of 200 km on a single charge and its ARAI certified range is close to 265 Km. The top speed is rated at 55 km/hr as its PMS electric motor generates a maximum power of 10 kW and a peak torque of 52 Nm. 

EXTERIORS: The UDO comes with updated headlamps, mirrors and a huge imposing windshield. 

Mahindra UDO Passenger e-3W

It provides a gradeability of 25.8% and an increased ground clearance of 215 Nm. Mahindra has provided 30.48 cm tubeless tyres and drum brakes. It also features regenerative braking, reverse throttle, hill hold assist and creep mode functionality. The power of UDO can be tapped via three driving modes which includes Range, Ride, and Race. 

Mahindra is offering a warranty on UDO for 6-year or 1.5 lakh kilometer, whichever comes first. Apart from this, there is a free service up to 1 lakh km as claimed by the company. Customers opting for UDO will be entitled to Mahindra’s UDAY NXT scheme, which offers an accidental insurance coverage of up to Rs 20 lakhs. 

The UDO will be manufactured at the company’s Zaheerabad facility. Currently, the production capacity of the facility is close to 2 lakh batteries in a year and 1.5 lakh vehicles in a year. Talking about the facility, it also has the capability of storing 5,000 KL rainwater with its dedicated rainwater harvesting system. 

The plant also comes equipped with automated battery assembly and automated production lines.
