MG Comet EV Pros & Cons in India
PROS:
- Super compact and can be easily driven in heavy traffic and is also easy to park. What’s interesting is that the length is the same as that of a two-wheeler.
- Smooth and Refined with adequate power to go from Point A to B with good overtaking prowess.
- Interiors are above the segment and felt quite luxurious for a car of this size.

- Tall seating makes visibility very good for those about 5’5 or under it.
- It has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that runs on Bluetooth.
- The Comet has an open area under the dash, which makes it super convenient to switch from driver to passenger seat. This can further help to park in tight spots and slide through the passenger seat.
- The location of cubby holes is accurate as it is placed just beneath the A/C vents, which keeps the drinks cool.

CONS:
- The overall ride is very uncomfortable as it feels bouncy at speeds below 40 km/hr and body roll is quite evident especially when you are speeding in corners.
- The seats are average with no under-thigh support and it starts to hurt the hamstrings after 30 mins of driving. The pedals are also located forward and could have been placed in the footwell.
- Visibility for tall drivers is quite bad. The IRVM blocks the side views, creating huge blindspots, especially when you are turning left at the intersections.

- There are no inclusions of glovebox or trays near the gear dial. This makes it difficult to store mobile phones, and documents.
- The placement of the instrument cluster is quite bad as there are some parts which are overlapped by the steering wheel.
- The rear left visibility is very poor and this is due to the addition of thick C pillars. The users can only estimate the left side of the car. Thus it feels weird without a bonnet to judge the front left of this car.
- No rear fog lamps on the Comet EV.
