MG Adapt EV Platform: MG Motor India Teases Drive.NEV Architecture For 16 July

MG Motor India is all ready to create a revolution in the electric vehicle industry on July 16 2026 as MG has just dropped a teaser for MG Adapt, which is a brand new innovation specifically under the Drive.NEV and it looks highly advanced.

A Disruption in Mobility 

The 42-second teaser is a visual treat for MG fans as it starts with a glowing energy that transforms into a splash of water, lightning over the mountains with a sweeping wave and majestic glowing tree. MG will be providing a seamless combination of natural elements and advanced sustainability. 

The key message of the teaser is powerful: "Introducing a disruption that will set the world of mobility free from restrictions, from form, from limits."

Decoding the MG Adapt Platform 

The biggest highlight of the video teaser is the striking visual of the energy chassis that transforms into the skateboard EV platform, displaying the wheels and suspension. This suggests that MG Adapt is not just a single car, as it is a highly flexible modular architecture designed specifically for next-generation New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). 

MG also claims that the platform is “Free From Form” indicating that MG’s single chassis could underpin a wide range of body styles, from compact city cars to full-size family SUVs.
