Tata unveils the refreshed Tiago EV before its launch on May 28.
Tata has finally taken the wraps off the updated Tiago EV and is all set to launch in the Indian market on May 28, 2026. Tata has extensively revised the design of the new Tiago EV, making it look more robust and bold than before.
Tata Tiago EV Facelift Design
The Tiago EV facelift comes with bigger headlights integrated with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs. The EV version gets body-coloured sealed grille with a completely redesigned bumper. However, the EV version doesn’t get the pixel-shaped fog lamps, which are present in the ICE Tiago.

It also features black wheel arches, which shares resemblance with the current Tiago NRG. Tata has also provided vertical LED strips to the rear, connected by a chunky bar, which is also present on other new Tata models. The rear also houses updated bumpers.

Tata Tiago EV Facelift Features
According to the teaser, Tata has confirmed the new 360-Degree camera setup, as the reveal video showcases camera pods on the front bumper and under the outside rearview mirrors. The interiors are also heavily updated featuring a new steering wheel and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.
Other features include automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control, automatic climate control, cooled glovebox, and a tyre pressure monitoring system TPMS. The Tiago EV also gets 6 airbags as standard.

Tata Tiago EV to get a larger Battery
There are high chances that the Tiago EV facelift could be equipped with bigger battery packs for a higher claimed range, as the manufacturer did with the Punch EV facelift. Currently, the Tiago EV is equipped with a 19.2 kWh and a larger 24 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 223 Km and 293 Km respectively.
Just like the Punch EV, the Tiago EV facelift could be also offered with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing options for lower upfront price tag. It will be competing with Citroen eC3 and MG Comet EV.
