Ultraviolette X-47 Ownership Review: Highway & City Riding Experience
Electric motorcycles are a revolution of a new emerging electric mobility, which provides you instant torque on just a push of the throttle. But electric motorcycles are exposed to bad road conditions in city and need to handle the everyday mix of highway and city riding, that is not just mentioned on the brochures.
We recently had a talk with the owner of the Ultraviolette X-47 and did its 2026 Ownership Review by cruising it on the roads of Mumbai to give you a detailed analysis of the X-47.

If you want an electric motorcycle to maneuver easily in the city limits, then the X-47 is a great commuter as it feels quite easy to ride, and despite its strong performance, the throttle response is linear and smooth, which makes it a breeze to drive in city traffic.

The absence of clutch and gear makes it even easy to ride in the stop and go traffic. All you have to do is just push the throttle and watch the X-47 just glide through the city. The silence of the electric motorcycle is also rewarding as the ride feels comfortable despite the road noise around you. At the end of the ride, the X-47 feels like an ideal everyday motorcycle for city commutes.
Ultraviolette X-47 Advanced Features
The user also shed a light on the advanced technology on offer as the 5-inch touchscreen is sharp, responsive and quite easy to use while on the ride. There are various radar-based features like blind-spot detection and rear collision warning that are quite useful in the real-time traffic conditions. However, these are not intrusive, but they ensure what’s happening around you.
The bike also provides real-time data of your rides through your dashcams, which provides you insights about your daily driving.

Ultraviolette X-47 Performance
After a few days of city driving, the owner tested the limits of the X-47 on the highway. The X-47 provides confidence on highway speeds as it feels planted, and the suspension keeps the bike stable on high speeds. The lack of vibration also makes long highway journeys more comfortable as compared to highly-vibrating ICE motorcycles.
Overtaking is quite easy to pull off as you just have to push the throttle and the bike responds eagerly. The X-47 feels sharper to throttle inputs in Ballistic mode, as it completely changes the characteristics of the electric motorcycle.
Talking about the dynamics, the chassis of the electric motorcycle is quite stable and suspension can handle uneven potholes and jumps with ease. At this price point, the bike just feels like traditional motorcycles on the roads.

The Final Verdict
After riding the motorcycle for 500 Km with mixed driving conditions including highway runs, off-roading and city commutes, it handled everything perfectly as the X-47 was just like any other motorcycle on the road with better dynamics.
If we talk about the cost, the user told us that he was saving over Rs 6,000 a month on fuel alone compared to a similarly priced ICE motorcycle. This huge cost saving is just impossible to ignore. The owner was genuinely impressed by the Ultraviolette X-47.
By reviewing it, one thing just got clear that electric motorcycles are no longer an alternative, but can be used for mainstream city rides and highway duties. If this technology has just gained momentum, then just imagine the upcoming innovations in the field of electric mobility.
