Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella: Launch Date & Expected Price

Toyota is all set to enter the Indian EV industry with its first electric car, the Urban Cruiser Ebella. Toyota is all set to introduce this car to the Indian roads around mid-April 2026. Toyota will be powering their first electric SUV with 49 kWh and larger 61 kWh battery options with a claimed range of up to 543 km on a single charge.

Basically it is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki e Vitara which will be underpinned by HEARTECT-e (shared with Maruti e Vitara).

However, the company has not revealed the exact prices for Urban Cruiser Ebella, as Maruti has launched the e Vitara, so expect the Urban Cruiser Ebella to be priced in the similar price range. Toyota introduced the Ebella in January 2026 and the company has started accepting the pre-bookings at various dealerships.
