Vinfast is gearing up to launch their VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in the Indian market, but they are also planning some new cars for India as recently Vinfast has secured a design patent for their new 7-seater MPV, which is called VinFast Limo Green.
Currently Vinfast is selling this three-row SUV in Vietnam, and are also planning to position this SUV in the Indian electric space. The Chinese manufacturer BYD has also implemented the same strategy by introducing the e6 MPV in India.
The Limo Green will be featuring a 2+3+2 seat layout, and captain seats will not be provided with this model, however there are no specific details on the expected launch of the Limo green in India.
VinFast Limo Green Battery & Range
POWER: The Limo Green in Vietnam is powered by a front-wheel drive motor that generates a maximum power of 204 HP and a peak torque of 280 Nm. All these powers are sourced from a 60.13 kWh battery pack providing a NEDC certified range (New European Driving Cycle) of 450 Km on a single charge.
This 7-seater SUV supports a maximum 80kW DC fast charging and can complete a 10-70% charge in 30 minutes. All these powers can be channelised through three driving modes which comprises Eco, Comfort, and Sport.
VinFast Limo Green Design and Features
Talking about the dimensions, the Limo Green is a long stretched car measuring 4,740 mm long, 1,872 mm wide and a substantial height of 1,728 mm with a remarkable wheelbase of 2,840 mm. To put the design into perspective, the Toyota Innova Hycross comes with the same dimensions as above, although it is styled as an MPV.
Visually, the Limo Green has retained the signature V-Shaped motifs located at the front and rear. The face of the SUV is comparatively sharper than VF6 and VF7, as the overstretched side profile is just fabulous to look at in person, reflecting a modern SUV look.
Limo Green gets 18-inch alloy wheels as standard, with a 170 mm of ground clearance which is shockingly low as per SUV standards. The rear gets complimented with a huge striking spoiler and a black bumper to give it a sporty look.
Expected Features
The precise features of the Vinfast Limo Green remain unknown, but it does include a 10.1-inch touchscreen, four speakers, single-zone air conditioning, and USB charging ports.
Safety features include four airbags, ABS and electronic parking brakes. However, there is no inclusion of ADAS on offer, as we have to wait for the final set of features till more news on this SUV breaks out.
