EMO Energy partners with BNC Motors to introduce the EMO Challenger, a platform for electric mobility.
EMO Energy, a battery technology company, is entering into a strategic alliance with BNC Motors in order to launch EMO Challenger, an electric mobility platform specifically developed for last-mile operations in India.
This collaboration will be integrating BNC Motors commercial vehicle engineering with EMO Energy’s battery systems in order to develop a platform made for daily operations by reducing downtime in urban delivery solutions. According to the company, India’s commercial EV segment is currently going through increased operations, with vehicles working in multiple shifts.
However due to heavy usage, battery degradation has become a crucial challenge for companies like quick commerce, e-commerce, and food delivery.

According to the company, the EMO Challenger Platform will be specifically used for delivery routes including higher payload capacity, extended vehicle usage cycles, 20-minute fast charging and commercial fleet deployments. As per the company, EMO Challenger include features such as
- Cell-Level Electrochemical modelling for understanding battery behaviour.
- Thermal management systems specifically made for regulating Indian temperature conditions.
- Active Balancing Battery Management System (BMS) platform.
- Fleet diagnostics management system and analytics for planning of maintenance.
