Euler Motors, a Delhi-based electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has inaugurated its new manufacturing facility in Palwal, Haryana. The facility will be producing the company's four-wheeler lineup, by manufacturing models such as Turbo EV 1000, a 1-tonne electric truck, and Storm EV, which is a commercial vehicle equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The facility was inaugurated by Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp, Dr Pawan Munjal in the presence of Euler Motors leadership team. The facility will be operating in two shifts along with a hybrid shift as it also comes with an automated four-wheeler assembly conveyor line, dedicated assembly lines, a body shop and integrated battery pack assembly line.

According to the company, the vehicles will be designed and manufactured in India, as supported by a localised supply chain. The facility has been developed with an investment of INR 100 crore. With this, the Euler Motors has expanded manufacturing operations which spans 40 acres, with an annual production capacity of up to 24,000 vehicles. 

The manufacturing facility also includes extensive testing at various stages of production. These include components such as suspension frames, drivetrain, and steering systems which also provide testing during assembly. 

The battery packs are further tested for thermal cycling, thermal shock, water wading, drop, vibration, mechanical shock and abuse under real-world driving scenarios. The facility also tests electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems before vehicles are delivered.
