Honda expands its range of electric scooters with the introduction of the QC3.

Honda has updated its electric two-wheeler lineup by introducing the all-new Honda QC3 electric scooter, with a total of three models. The QC3 will be positioned above the QC1, by providing a larger battery, enhanced range and high level of equipment. 

Honda QC3 Technical Details 

Currently, Honda is selling two electric scooters in India, the QC1 and Activa-E, as both are available in the dealerships in limited cities with a nationwide supply to be started soon. The QC1 is Honda’s most affordable electric scooter, is priced at Rs 90,708 and comes with a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack with a claimed IDC range of 80 Km. 

The Active-e is powered by two removable 1.5 kWh batteries for a combined capacity of 3 kWh and provides a claimed IDC range of 102 km on a single charge and is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh. 

The newly launched QC3 comes with a fixed 3 kWh battery and claimed IDC range of 145 Km on a single charge and has emerged as Honda’s longest range in India. This also suggests that the QC3 will be positioned as the flagship electric scooter under Honda’s portfolio.

Honda QC3 Features

According to Honda, the battery can be charged from 0-80% in just 2 hours and 40 mins, with full charge expected to take around 4 hours. The scooter also comes with a TFT display featuring Honda RoadSync connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, which just differentiates it from the basic instrument cluster in the QC1. 

The QC3’s availability will be currently limited as Honda has not revealed the exact prices or launch timeline for the electric scooter.
