Honda introduces the QC3 with a competitive price tag of Rs 1.35 lakh.
Honda has introduced the QC3 at an affordable price of Rs 1.35 lakh and is the third electric scooter in Honda’s lineup after the QC1 and Activa e. This family-oriented scooter comes powered with a 3 kWh battery pack that can be fully charged in just 4 hours, with a 0-80% charge taking about 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Honda has confirmed that the initial rollout of the QC3 will be limited to five cities across the country: Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam, as the company will be doing nationwide rollout in a phased manner.
Honda QC3 Technical Specs
Honda’s earlier products, the QC1 and the Activa e were less-equipped for their asking prices of Rs 90,408 and Rs 1.2 lakh respectively. As per Honda, they have fixed this issue with the QC3 by offering a bigger battery than the QC1’s 1.5 kWh unit and providing more range than the Activa e’s 102 Km (IDC claimed).

The QC3 will also come with a 5-inch TFT display providing turn-by-turn navigation through Honda RoadSync connectivity system. The QC3 will also get a decent seat storage of 32 litres, which is significantly larger than the QC1’s 26 litres. The Activa e’s boot is completely non-existent due to its removable battery.
The QC3 will be locally manufactured, which has further helped the company to price it competitively at Rs 1.35 lakh with four colours to choose from: Matt Photon, Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue.

Honda has positioned the QC3 in the price range which makes it directly compete with established rivals such as
- TVS iQube 3.1 kWh at Rs 1.30 lakh
- the Chetak C3502 at Rs 1.44 lakh
- Vida VX2 Plus 3.1 kWh at Rs 1.30 lakh
- Ather Konarc S 161 at Rs 1.45 lakh
