Hyundai has introduced their all-electric Ioniq 3 at the Milan Design Week 2026. The Ioniq 3 was also displayed as Concept Three in September 2025. The Korean manufacturer has designed this all-electric model specifically for European markets. The Ioniq 3 will be manufactured at Hyundai’s Ismit facility situated in Turkiye, and will be sharing majority of parts with the Kia EV2.

Hyundai Ioniq 3 Technical Details

The Ioniq 3 will be powered with an option of 42.2 kWh and larger 61 kWh battery packs further distinguished in Standard Range and Long Range variants. The smaller battery provides a WLTP-certified range of up to 344 Km on a single charge, while the larger battery pack provides range up to 496 Km on a single charge.

Hyundai Ioniq 3 with 496km range

Hyundai will provide an 11 kW AC charger as standard with the Ioniq 3 with an availability of a 22 kW charger as an option. The DC-fast charger can be charged from 10-80% in 29 minutes as claimed by Hyundai. Apart from this, the Ioniq 3 will also get Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology.

POWER: The Ioniq 3 will be provided with a single front-mounted electric motor available in two states of tune: generating 135 Hp in the base variant and 147 Hp in the performance-oriented N Line variant. The Ioniq 3 has a claimed top-speed of 170 km/hr, while the Standard variant claims a 0-100 km/hr in just 9 seconds.
