Olectra Greentech is set to provide 1,085 electric buses valued at 1,800 crore for a project in Telangana.

Evey Trans Private Limited (EVEY) has garnered two Letter of Award (LOA) from Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) for the supply and maintenance of 1,085 electric buses for intra-city operations.

Under this agreement, EVEY will be deploying the buses from Olectra Greentech Limited. The delivery of 1,085 buses will be completed over the period of 20 months. The order includes 1,025 units of 12-meter  non A/C buses and 60 units of 12-meter AC buses. The project will be completed under a Gross Cost Contract (GCC) / OPEX model for a period of 12 years.

The total value of the project is estimated at approximately 1,800 crore for Olectra. The company will be also responsible for the maintenance of the buses during this 12-year contract period.
