JSW MG Motor is set to increase car prices starting in April.
JSW MG Motors has become the latest company to announce price hike, making its ICE and EV cars expensive by 2% from 1 April, 2026. However, it does not include MG Select models such as the Cyberster and M9. The company further stated that, “The price hike is totally offered on the basis of constantly rising input costs.”
Other car manufacturers such as Tata, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz have also increased their prices earlier this month. However MG has not revealed which particular model has witnessed the steepest price revision or the exact price increase for each vehicle.

Currently, the Comet EV is India’s most cost-effective EVs available across the country at an introductory price of Rs 7.5 lakh, while the Gloster is the most expensive model available at a starting price of Rs 38.33 lakh. According to MG Motors, there could be a price update of Rs 15,000 - Rs 86,320, depending on the model and variant.
