The Kia Carens Clavis EV now comes with a 15-year unlimited Km warranty.

South Korean manufacturer Kia has finally introduced a lifetime warranty on its high-voltage battery for its electric MPV, the Carens Clavis EV. While the company calls it lifetime warranty, the coverage is 15 years and unlimited Km for the first owner of the Carens Clavis EV from September 16. 

However, for consumers who brought Carens Clavis EV before August 1, 2026 will be provided the option to extend their 8-year or 1,60,000 Km battery warranty to 15 years with unlimited Km. The company has also clarified that the battery warranty for commercial vehicles or second owners is limited to 8 years or 1,60,000 Km, whichever comes first. 

The Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, expressed his views on this and said, “The Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty for the Carens Clavis EV is a testament to our quality and reliability of our battery technology and enhances the long-term value of owning a Kia EV. 

Thus extending the enhanced battery assurance to eligible Clavis EV customers reflects our commitment for existing Clavis EV customers to be there for their ownership journey.”
