The Kia Vision Meta Turismo has been awarded the Red Dot Award in the Concept Design category.

Kia has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2026: Design Concept for Kia Vision Meta Turismo, which is a modern sports sedan concept nominated in the ‘Cars and Motorcycles’ category. Kia follows a new ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy for a progressive and human centric design.

The Kia Vision Meta Turismo had its global debut at Milan Design Week as it represents the new era of digital age and for Kia’s next generation of consumers. This design concept is a combination of striking cab-oriented silhouette paired with a lounge-inspired interior. 

According to Kia, the car provides dynamic driving experience and seamless digital interaction, which is a testament to Kia’s modern approach to embrace its next generation electric vehicles.

The Kia Vision Meta Turismo was awarded for its modern vision crafted into a design concept that strikes a perfect balance between performance, digital interaction, and human-centric design. 

On the inside, the Vision Meta Turismo enhances the driving to a multisensory level. It includes digital layers, easily accessible physical controls, and customisable modes for transforming electric mobility into an emotional and engaging driving experience. 

The Red Dot Award recognition will further solidify Kia’s position as a global leader in design and will increase the value of concept designs in expressing the brand’s future vision. 

The Vision Meta Turismo provides a detailed explanation of how future mobility can integrate speed, technology and emotion while maintaining the driving standards of human experience. The award will also strengthen Kia's capabilities to utilise design as a strategic tool in exploring ideas about future products.
