Lohia introduces the electric L5 passenger three-wheeler, Youdha EPOD, priced at Rs 2.79 Lakhs.

Lohia has introduced their Youdha EPOD, all-new electric three-wheeler in L5 category at an introductory price of Rs 2.79 lakh. The particular vehicle was in development stage for approximately three years and is exclusively manufactured for the Indian passenger vehicle segment. 

As per Lohia, the certified range of EPOD is around 227 Km on a single charge and is powered by an 11.8 kWh LFP battery integrated with a 6 kW electric motor. 

Youdha EPOD Technical Specifications

The Youdha EPOD can reach a maximum speed of up to 45 Km/hr with an estimated charging time ranging from 4-5 hours. The kerb weight for the electric three-wheeler stands at 725 Kg. Talking about the dimensions, The Youdha EPOD measures 2,820 mm in length, with a width of 1,350 mm and a significant height of 1,785 mm. 

The electric three-wheeler incorporates a monocoque chassis and includes a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The power is characterised into two modes, City and Boost for optimum performance, and gets a tyre size of 3.75 R12, with a designed gradability of 13 Degrees. 

The EPOD is locally manufactured and comes under the Lohia’s mobility Initiative. The company is focussing on strengthening their networks in India and enhancing their product lineups in India.
