Mahindra 3XO EV was recently launched in the Indian market and is one of the most affordable EVs in the Mahindra lineup. The 3XO retains the similar 39.4 kWh battery pack from the previous XUV400 and its battery ranges around 4-5 lakh, depending on the battery size.

Mahindra 3XO EV Battery Warranty

Mahindra offers a 8-year/1,60,000 Km battery warranty, whichever comes first. The warranty is applicable on the battery pack & Motor, and it also comes with a standard 3-year/unlimited km vehicle warranty. The warranty also covers defects in electric components. 

NOTE: It is very important to use only approved home chargers with a Surge Protection Drive (SPD), which is necessary at the time of warranty claims, specifically for the high-voltage (HV) battery. 

Conditions: The warranty covers the repairs as well as the replacement, but the warranty period cannot be extended beyond the original timeline. However, new parts are entitled to get the coverage for the remaining original period.

Mahindra also offers an extended warranty program called "Shield" which users can purchase additionally as it provides extra coverage beyond the standard warranty. These provide benefits which include protection against mechanical/electrical breakdown, which potentially increases the resale value of cars.
