The MG Hector Tomahawk EV has been teased once more ahead of its official reveal on August 26
JSW MG Motor India has achieved a substantial presence in the Indian electric passenger vehicle market with its range of EVs catered to different sets of consumers like the Windsor EV, Comet EV, and the ZS EV. Now the manufacturer is planning to introduce another electric SUV, called MG Hector Tomahawk.
The MG Hector Tomahawk EV is slated to be launched on August 26, 2026 in the Indian market and will be the first EV by the brand to be underpinned by ADAPT platform. On launch, it will be going against the likes of Mahindra XEV 9S. The SUV has been recently teased again by the company’s latest teaser.
MG Hector Tomahawk EV Launch Details
The MG Hector Tomahawk EV is basically a rebadged version of the Wuling Starlight 560, which has been specifically tuned for the Indian roads. It will feature three-row seating, connected-car technology and MG’s new design language.

The latest teaser showcases a glimpse of the silhouette of the electric SUV. The two-row LED daytime running lights are smartly integrated into the headlamps and LED tail-lights have been teased in the latest video. It is also expected to get MG-specific alloy wheels, sleek window lines, body cladding, and styling around the D-Pillar.
INTERIORS: On the inside, the cabin gets a three-row cabin layout powered by bench seats expected on the second and third row seats. Some variants also get the option of captain seats for the middle row occupants. There will also be an inclusion of a larger touchscreen infotainment system.
MG Hector Tomahawk EV Expected Specifications
However, the company has not revealed the exact technical specification of the upcoming electric SUV, but the international model is powered by a 69.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery integrated with a front-mounted electric motor generating 201 Bhp and peak torque of 310 Nm. The claimed range stands at 530 Km on a single charge.
