Renault is accepting the bookings for the hybrid versions with a token amount of Rs 21,000. Renault Duster Hybrid’s E-Tech Powertrain 

The Duster Hybrid comes powered with Renault’s in-house developed “E-Tech” system, which is a strong-hybrid setup that draws experience from the brand’s Formula 1 racing. Below we have mentioned the Technical Specs of the Hybrid powertrain. 

• Engine: 1.8-Litre, Four-Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Petrol. 
• Electric Boost: It works together with two electric motors - a 20 Hp starter generator and a primary motor generating 49 Hp, that directly powers the wheels. 
• Battery: A 1.4 kWh battery pack that supports the electrical system. 
• Total Power: In a combined setup, it produces 160 Hp of maximum power output and 172 Nm of peak torque. 

Renault’s hybrid system is a self-charging system, there’s no need to use charging cables or range anxiety. The battery smartly charges itself when you drive, by taking energy from regenerative braking and engine power. 

The power is seamlessly delivered to the wheels via a smart multi-mode automatic gearbox that uses fixed gear ratios in order to enhance the efficiency and performance. The vehicle intelligently transitions between pure electric propulsion, traditional engine power, or a hybrid blend of both—all determined by your unique driving circumstances.

Renault Duster Hybrid Mileage

According to Renault, the new Duster Hybrid integrated with its E-Tech system has an official ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 29 km/l. Renault has also stated that Duster Hybrid can provide up to 80% of your city driving in pure electric mode, thus promising an impressive level of efficiency by producing zero emissions.
