River Indie recorded its best monthly sales to date in June 2026.

The River Indie has achieved its highest-ever monthly retail sales with 4,436 units in the month of June 2026, thus beating its previous sales record of 4,273 units sold in the month of March 2026. If we look at the total cumulative sales since the scooter’s launch in October 2023, it has registered total sales of 43,805 units till the end of June.

This strong performance has resulted in a big jump of the Bengaluru-based company to the 7th place in monthly electric two-wheeler sales.

River Indie June 2026 Sales Performance

If we analyse the Indie’s sales performance, it shows consistent growth over the years. After a consistent start in the first two years, River Mobility started with a phenomenal growth of 17,020 Indies in 2025, which solidified its position to 9th rank in the electric two-wheeler manufacturers for the year. 

This momentum has continued in 2026, as it has registered 54% of India’s cumulative sales since its launch in the Indian market. If it follows the similar pattern, River Mobility will easily cross 50,000 annual sales for the first time in 2026. 

The Indie comes at a starting price of Rs 1.55 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Bengaluru), which makes it a direct competitor to popular electric scooters like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ather Rizta. The River Indie is a practical electric scooter which is designed specifically for everyday family use with generous 43 litres of underseat storage. 

With the success of River Indie, the company is planning to launch two new models in the first quarter of 2027. Currently, the River Indie and Yamaha EC-06 are jointly manufactured at its Hoskote plant situated in Karnataka, with a generous annual production capacity of 1,20,000 units.
