Tata Curvv EV Real-World Range Test Analysis
The Curvv EV is positioned between Nexon EV and Harrier EV and stands out due to its unique coupe-inspired styling. It comes with an option of two battery packs to choose from: a smaller 45 kWh and substantial 55 kWh. We recently had a talk with the owner of Curvv EV (55 kWh), as he did a comprehensive range test to find the actual range.
According to the user’s range test, the Tata Curvv electric car battery range is between 350-360 km on a single charge which translates to an efficiency of 6.54 km/kWh. He also shared his analysis on the range-test with us.
Tata Curvv EV Real World Range India (100% to 0%)
Tata Curvv expected range is around 400-425 Km as claimed by Tata under the C75 cycle. During the real-world range test, the owner told us that he kept the Curvv EV on ‘Eco’ mode completely, which limits the torque to 70% of total power and restricts the max speed at 120 km/hr. He also set the regenerative braking at Level 2 (Medium) for the city and Level 1 (Low) specifically for Highway drives.
During the test, the user got an efficiency of 6.52 km/kWh on the highway and 6.75 km/kWh on city commutes, ensuring an overall efficiency of 6.64km/kWh. This results in a real world range of 365 Km (Approximately).
Tata Curvv EV Charging Experience
