2026 Tiago EV vs Old Tiago EV Fast DC Charging
| Model | State of Charge (SoC) | Time |
| 2026 Tiago | 20-80% | 30 Mins |
| Old Tiago | 20-80% | 45 Mins |
The improvement becomes even more substantial when compared to the previous Tiago EV Long Range, as the previous model achieved an average charging speed of around 15 kW and peaked at 19 kW. The battery took 45 mins to charge from 20-80% SOC.
If we look at 2026 Tiago vs Old Tiago EV AC Charging, Tata claims that the 24 kWh Tiago EV’s battery can charge from 10-100% via 9 hours using a 3.3 kW wallbox AC charger, and if you go for the 7.2 kW wallbox AC unit, the charging time has reduced to just 3.5 hours.
Practically, the 2026 Tiago EV is more convenient as the charging has been made seamless with the new update, and is an even better pick for those who frequently take intercity journeys.
