Tesla is all set to launch its second experience center in Aerocity as the US manufacturer has leased a 8,200 sq ft on rent in Delhi’s Worldmark 3 at a cost of Rs 17.22 Lakh per month as reported by Real Estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix, which has renewed the registration document of leasing transactions. A 9-year lease has been secured for the space located in Orchid Business Park, Gurugram.
The starting rent will be Rs 210 per sq ft as the rentals will significantly increase at the rate of 15% in every 36 months. The lease finalisation happened on July 30, 2025.
Tesla will be also expanding its service center by registering a lease of 33,000 sq ft in Gurugram, thus implementing its two-city expansion strategy.
Tesla started its operations in India after launching their first retail store in Bandra Kurla Complex business district in suburban Mumbai, and started selling their Model Y with an introductory price of nearly Rs 60 Lakh after including the high-import duty costs.
Tesla will be paying a total rent of Rs 40 Lakh for the Gurugram property as the clause in the agreement states that the rent will significantly increase by Rs 4.75 Lakh per annum.
The chargeable area is 33,475 sq ft, while the super built up area of the property is measured at 50,914 sq ft, followed by a 3-year lock-in as confirmed by CRE Matrix, with the property being leased by Garwal Property, registering on July 28.
