Texas Instruments Presents Innovative EV and ADAS Solutions on Display at Electronica 2026.
Texas Instruments has expanded their direct rupee purchasing for domestic manufacturers, which includes covering bulk orders via its backlog channel. Thus with this announcement, more than 20 technology demonstrations were showcased at Electronica India 2026, organised at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Center last week.
The diversified payment mechanism will be targeting multiple OEMs and component manufacturers building electronics for automotive, renewable energy, and industrial products. Thus it provides greater cost predictability and revised delivery terms for Indian customers.
Texas Instruments at Electronica India 2026
Texas Instruments showcased a 3D car wireframe engineered specifically for software-defined vehicle central compute setup, which also comes with over-the-air OTA firmware updates. The display also features zone control modules, real-time wheel-speed tracking, a 48V wiper assembly and a Gallium Nitride-enabled 48V audio amplifier.
TI also demonstrated other solutions coming with Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Channel Sounding for car digital keys and keyless entry systems along with solutions for digital cockpits.
Commercial Vehicles
The company also displayed a 1V3R solution, combined with one camera and three radar units, which is built to cater the needs of ADAS mandates applied for commercial vehicles in India
Solar Applications
Texas Instruments also presented a GaN-based 3.6 kW single-phase string inverter specifically designed for solar applications.
It consists of a single microcontroller running a H-Bridge bipolar modulated DC/AC inverter alongside a single-string photovoltaic input with maximum power point tracking, as the platform is designed to offer high-frequency operation in order to reduce total solution cost and size.
