TVS iQube has now exceeded the production of 1 million units.
TVS Motor Company has crossed the milestone of selling 1 million TVS iQube from its manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This record feat has been followed closely by TVS, which comprises the iQube and Orbiter, earlier this month, making it the second Indian EV manufacturer after Ola Electric to hit this milestone.
TVS iQube 1 Million Milestone Details
The TVS iQube was first launched in India in 2020 as the company’s first electric vehicle for the Indian market. Soon, the lineup expanded to three variants - the base iQube available with a 2.2 kWh, 3.1 kWh, and 3.5 kWh battery pack options.
AdvertisementThe top-spec iQube S features a bigger 4.7 kWh battery pack with a range topping iQube ST coming with a 5.3 kWh battery. TVS is now supporting its growing customer base through sales and network channels spanning across 3,300 touchpoints over 3,000 cities. Since launch, the iQube owners have completed 14.94 billion kilometers.

According to TVS, it has helped save 5.22 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions, which is equivalent to planning 2.09 crore trees.
The chairman of TVS Motor Company, Sudarshan Venu, has expressed his views on the launch and said, “The EV adoption is accelerating at a massive scale and becoming a part of everyday life in India.” He also added that the core foundation of this achievement was built on years of investment in engineering, innovation and manufacturing capability.
