Ultraviolette reached its peak monthly sales in July 2026.
Ultraviolette Automotive has registered its highest ever monthly sales in the month of July by selling 694 units in the month of July, which is a 406% increase as compared to last year. Until July 2026, Ultraviolette had sold 3,200 units, as the brand was founded in 2023.
Although the spike in increase could be because of the brand's expanded portfolio for the Indian market, the market has also witnessed a major shift as premium motorcycles consumers are inclined to purchase EV motorcycles.
The brand has also shown impressive growth as the company has diversified its presence in the 40 locations across India, which will be further increased to 100 by the end of 2026. Thus the joint efforts by the brand could further help it finish on a high note, especially during this festive season.

How Ultraviolette Achieved this figure?
One of the biggest factors in this roaring success for the brand is reducing the upfront cost of their electric motorcycles by introducing the BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) option from the brand for all motorcycles across the range. Currently, Ultraviolette is working on enhancing its worldwide appeal.
Thus with the current market trends and favourable conditions due to E20 issues, the brand is actively looking to ramp up their sales figures in order to enhance their market share. The only strong player which could give stiff competition to them is Royal Enfield, as they have just started selling its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6 in April 2026.
However, the sales numbers of Flying Flea is considerably lower than Ultraviolette as the brand has just sold 124 units till July 2026. Currently, the Flying Flea is only available in Bengaluru.

Market Situation of EV Motorcycle Segment
The rise of the EV motorcycle segment is slow due to the sole reason that customers have to pay higher prices for a less capable machine, if compared to their ICE counterparts. The two-wheeler market is mainly carried by electric scooters. The EV motorcycles achieve a small fraction of the 13 million sales done by ICE two-wheelers, which is just phenomenal.
Thus it will be interesting to see how EV motorcycles will catch up the market in future as the growth possibilities for this segment is enormous in future.
