Vinfast has officially filed a patent for its Minio Green compact electric vehicle design in India.

Vinfast is all set to launch a compact electric vehicle in India, as it has filed for a design patent for its Minio Green compact EV. This has been revealed after the patent application of VinFast Limo Green 7-seat SUV design, which further gives a speculation that Vinfast is preparing its electric vehicle lineup for India with these potential launches. 

If launched in India, the Minio Green will be a second car in the all-electric supermini segment after the MG Comet, which is enjoying monopoly in this highly demanded segment. 

Vinfast Minio Green Design

Looking at the dimensions, the car is around 3,090 mm long, 1496 mm wide, and has a substantial height of 1,625 mm. This two=door sub compact hatchback is the smallest and cost-effective model in the entire Vinfast lineup sold in the international markets. 

The car has got a tall body shape just like the Wagonr and features body cladding on the side skirts and bumpers complimented by large semicircular headlights styled in chrome and black trim. The Minio Green gets 13-inch steel wheels, shark-fin antenna, small roof spoiler and a blacked-out rear section which includes the tail-lamps. 

The Minio Green is a strict 4-seater as it gets a 4-seat layout with shockingly no infotainment screen or any music system, It only gets A/C vents and the interior finished with a blue trim. The digital driver display also doubles up as the car’s infotainment system. Other highlights include a 2-spoke steering wheel, AC controls and storage sections in the center console. 

Talking about the features of Minio Green, it is equipped with 4-way powered driver’s seat, 2-speaker sound system, driver airbag, traction control, ABS with EBD, and more. 

Vinfast Minio Green Expected Battery & Range

Globally, the Minio Green is powered by a 14.7 kWh battery pack integrated with a rear-mounted electric motor, generating 27 HP and 65 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 80 Km/hr. The Minio Green provides a NEDC-certified significant range of 170 Km. The Minio Green supports a maximum charging wattage at 12 kW.
