Vinfast VF6 Pros & Cons Explained

The Vinfast VF6 is the entry-level electric car in Vinfast’s lineup for India and comes powered with a 59.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with an MIDC certified range of up to 468 Km on a single charge. The VF6 generates a maximum power output of 201 Bhp and a peak torque of 310 Nm. It also supports 100 kW of fast DC charging and can charge from 10-70% in just 25 minutes.

Vinfast VF6 PROS: 

• The power delivery is quite linear, which makes it easy to drive in cities and highways. 
• The VF6 comes with well bolstered front seats integrated with ventilation in order to provide comfortable long journeys. 
• The tilt and telescopic steering wheel makes it easy to find a comfortable driving position. 

• Vinfast also provides a suspension warranty of 5 years or 1.3 lakh km, whichever comes first. 
• The company is also offering 75% buyback value before 2 years & 40,000 Km and 55% value before 5 years or 1,00,000 Kms. 
• The VF6 is available with a wide variety of variants, plus they also don’t force you for panoramic sunroofs like every other car manufacturer, which just provides flexibility to consumers. The top-spec Wind variant comes with all the features of the top end, except the sunroof, which is available only in Wind Infinity.

• The floor board’s height is quite high, which makes it cumbersome during ingress and egress. 
• The rear seats lack under thigh support, which is clearly felt during long trips. They could have provided better seats for rear occupants. 
• Limited sales and service network as of June 2026, which just restricts the movability as consumers can face lack of service centers. 

• The touchscreen’s lower part can touch with the knee fowling towards it, which makes the driver uncomfortable during long journeys. 
• The steering wheel is quite small, which takes time to adjust according to the driver. 
• Everything is touch operated. There is a lack of physical buttons as even for adjusting the ORVMs, you have to rely on the touchscreen.
