Return of Physical Buttons 

The biggest and most exciting details about the interior of the ID.Cross is the comeback of physical buttons as Volkswagen has listened to the customer feedback. The teaser playfully “downloads” pixelated sections of the interiors to show the physical buttons. 

The steering wheel also features a tactile cluster for controls such as media, view and assist, which is just as smart as compared to the capacitive touch surfaces that were a pain in earlier ID models. The door panels are also robust with the addition of traditional switches for windows and locks, thus bringing that realistic click feel.

With the majority of focus on the interiors, VW also provided a glimpse of the exteriors as the video ends with a short view of blocky futuristic LED taillights and striking aero-optimised alloy wheels integrated with rugged black wheel arches.
