XPENG G9L Launched in Europe: Price, Specs & Next-Gen AI SUV Debut

 Expeng has finally introduced its flagship AI electric SUV, the G9L at the 2026 Paris Motor Show at the starting price of €74,990. The global Physical AI leader is evolving and with the launch of its flagship AI SUV, has finally established its roots in the European market. 

XPENG G9L Performance & Safety 

The G9L is specifically designed for everyday urban commutes to family road trips, as the G9L offers flexibility by providing 6-seater and 7-seater layouts with luxury AI-Adaptive Front Seats.

Charging: The flagship EV also comes with a remarkable 591 Km of WLTP-certified range integrated with an 800V architecture and 5C charging technology. This can charge up the batteries from 10-80% in blistering 11.7 minutes. 

Safety: XPENG takes safety as an important consideration and has extensively tested across 26 countries and over 6.74 million kilometers. The G9L comes with nine airbags as standard, automatic emergency braking at speeds up to 150 km/hr, and also provides dedicated stability support to keep you safe in emergency situations. 

XPENG G9L Smart AI Technology

XPENG has introduced its Next Generation Pilot (NGP) technology powered by VLA 2.0 and proprietary Turing AI chips specifically for its first major public test rides in Europe. It helps in seamless navigation in chaotic Paris roundabouts, compact streets, and tricky pedestrian crossings.

VLA 2.0 retains 30 seconds of road context and can predict traffic scenarios up to six seconds. Apart from Tesla, XPENG is the only manufacturer featured in the show's official Autonomous Lab.

XPENG "Physical AI” Future 

• Visitors are experiencing a look at the future at XPENG’s 1,008-square-meter “Physical AI Museum" in Paris. 

• Apart from 11 smart vehicles, the brand is showcasing its Land Aircraft Carrier flying car and the IRON humanoid robot, which is slated for a global launch in 2027. 
• XPENG is following “In Europe, For Europe, With Europe” philosophy and unveiling its AI and vehicle engineering technology for its global partners 
• The G9L is set to become the fourth XPENG model manufactured right on European soil, making it a big step for intelligent driving in Europe.
