Ather Teases Konarc electric scooter on Social Media | To be Launched on August 29

Ather has showcased the glimpse of its upcoming Konarc electric scooter, based on the EL01 platform. The Co-Founder and CEO of Ather Energy, Tarun Mehta, recently posted a video on social media platform X, providing important details about its latest electric scooter. 

As per the video, the company has revealed the name of the much-awaited electric scooter called Konarc. Apart from this, the important details are revealed such as the similar U-shaped LED DRLs at the front as well as the rear front disc brakes, alloy wheels and telescopic fork suspension. The scooter also features 14-inch tyre size and comes with a 90/90 section. 

Ather Konarc New Platform

The upcoming model will be underpinned by the brand's all-new EL platform, which is like a versatile architecture capable of supporting various body styles in future. It is designed to accommodate multiple battery packs ranging from 2 kWh to 5 kWh, allowing Ather to develop a wider range of scooters catered to different needs and preferences.

The Ather EL01 concept was first displayed at last year’s Community Day and comes with a sleek and minimalistic design featuring smooth body panels equipped with a flat dashboard. It also includes a long, single-piece seat which is elevated for the passenger. 

Ather Konarc Expected Price in India

The EL-based scooter will be underpinning Ather’s affordable models with an estimated ex-showroom price of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.20 lakh. This will mark the brand's entry into the cost-effective electric scooter segment as more information will be revealed in the coming days.
