BYD Seal Battery Pack Price and Warranty

BYD provides a comprehensive warranty on Seal’s high-voltage blade battery for 8-year or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes first. The warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship and starts from the date of registration. The company also provides standard vehicle warranty of 6 years or 1,50,000 km, whichever comes first. 

Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper charging and unauthorized modifications. 

According to the company, the blade battery is designed to offer high safety and reliability, claiming over 5,00,000 km of seamless durability.
