Hyundai has introduced an assured buyback programme for the Creta Electric, thus offering 60% assured buyback for up to 3 years or 45,000 Km, whichever comes first, subject to terms and conditions. The Creta Electric is the most affordable EV from the brand and comes at a cost-effective price of Rs 18.03 lakh and Rs 23.67 lakh (Ex-Showroom). 

In order to reduce the upfront cost, the company will be providing Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing scheme, starting from Rs 10.99 lakh, along with Rs 3.9 per Km battery EMI (Specifically for 42 kWh battery pack).

Hyundai Creta Electric Battery & Range 

Hyundai provides two battery pack options for the midsize electric SUV: a small 42 kWh and a substantial 51.4 kWh battery pack (Long Range Version). The claimed range is 420 Km for the 42 kWh and 510 Km for the bigger 51.4 kWh battery pack. 

The Creta is powered by a front-mounted electric motor and in the long-range variant, it generates a maximum power output of 171 Hp. While the smaller battery pack generates 135 Hp of peak power. 

The Creta Electric can be charged from 10-100% in 6 hours (42 kWh) and 7.15 hours (51.4 kWh) using a 7.4 kW AC charger. Both batteries support about 100 kW DC-fast charging and can charge from 10-80% in just 39 minutes.
