At front, it features a sculpted clamshell bonnet, sleek Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, and a rugged black grille assembly. The side profile gets squarish wheel arches, heavy plastic body cladding made from recycled materials (Starkle) and functional roof rails scream outdoor utility. The back features Y-shaped taillamps and a chunky skid plate.

Renault Bigster Hybrid Technology: How it Works?

Renault is working on enhancing efficiency and for that it will be integrating a 1.8-litre four cylinder strong-hybrid powertrain integrated with an electric motor and a dedicated traction battery.

  • City-Friendly Efficiency: The setup provides low-speed urban driving strictly on electric power, thus slashing fuel costs in stop-and-go traffic.
  • Drivetrain Choices: Renault will provide a variety of drivetrain choices such as a 6-speed manual and multi-mode automatic gearboxes will be available with an option of All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants integrated with terrain modes (Snow, Mud/Sand, and Off-Road).

Renault Bigster Interior

On the inside, the Bigster blends between utilitarian toughness with modern creature comforts:

Dual Screens: A 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment setup (with Wireless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto) integrated with 7-inch and 10-inch digital instrument binnacle.

Three-Row Setup: It comes with a 7-seat configuration offering ample headroom and modular sliding second-row seats.

Premium Upgrades: It comes with various features such as Panoramic Sunroof, Dual-zone automatic climate control, Arkamys 3D audio system, wireless charging pad, and Level 2-ADAS safety tech.

Renault Bigster Expected Price

The Bigster is expected to arrive in Indian markets in 2027. Upon launch, it will be competing against popular rivals like Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 7XO, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus.

Renault is expected to position the Bigster in price ranging between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 24 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). Thus it strikes a perfect balance between rugged design, a capable 7-seater, and highly advanced strong-hybrid technology.
