Skoda has revealed a new Sportline variant of the Epiq, at the Paris Motor Show 2026. The brand will also be representing 14 other models alongside Epiq at the motor show. Just like the other Sportline variants, it is expected that the Epiq Sportline will feature a blacked-out exterior and interior theme. The Paris Motor show will commence from October 13 to 18.

Skoda Epiq Sportline Design: What to Expect?

Skoda knows how to make a practical car look sharper and modern. Thus the brand has introduced the Sportline variant specifically for buyers looking for sporty aesthetics without paying extra for the performance model.

Although Skoda has kept most specifics under wraps in their official teaser, the Epiq Sportline is set to feature aggressive, darkened styling cues.

  • Exterior Upgrades: It is expected to feature gloss black finishes on the alloy wheels, outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), and the front and rear bumpers. Skoda is likely to use a blacked-out roof to give it a more aggressive stance.
  • Interiors: The Sportline will provide an all-black upholstery setup integrated by contrasting red stitching and a dark dashboard layout.

Skoda Epiq Battery & Range

The standard Epiq will be underpinned by Volkswagen Group’s highly versatile MEB+ platform and will be the most affordable EV from the brand. It will be integrated with a Front-mounted motor (FWD) setup and powered by a 38.5 kWh and a substantial 55 kWh battery pack.

The Standard Epiq comes in three variants to choose from:

  • Eqiq 35: Comes with a 38.5 kWh battery, generating 116 Hp and 267 Nm of torque.
  • Epiq 40: It uses the same 38.5 kWh battery pack, but power has been increased to 135 Hp (Torque at the same 267 Nm).
  • Epiq 55 (Top-Spec): Gets a bigger 55 kWh battery pack, generating 211 Hp and 290 Nm of torque.
  • The Sportline Spec: While the company hasn't officially confirmed it yet, the Epiq Sportline is anticipated to be offered exclusively in the premium top-tier models and is most likely to be paired with 55 kWh battery pack (211 Hp).

In terms of range figures, Skoda is claiming 310 Km of range for the smaller 38.5 kWh battery pack, while the larger 55 kWh battery pack provides a claimed range of 440 Km.
