BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic Launched at ₹41.90 Lakh: 520km Range, Features, Specs & What’s New in 2026

BYD has announced the launch of a special entry-level variant for the Indian market called SEALION 7 Dynamic. Priced from ₹41.90 lakhs ex-showroom, the Dynamic lowers the starting price of the premium BEV significantly while retaining most of the luxurious features of the high-end models. Most notably, the entry-level Dynamic uses a smaller 71.8 kWh battery compared to the 82.56kWh of the Premium and Performance grades. 

It produces 231 horsepower and has a driving range of 520km on a full charge under the NEDC standard. The Dynamic also maintains most of the other high-end features, including a rotating infotainment screen, panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, 11 airbags and Level 2 ADAS. However, several convenience features have been cut in order to reduce the price.

The Dynamic uses a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery compared to 82.56 kWh of the Premium and Performance. This type of battery powers the car’s RWD electric motor, while the higher grades also have an AWD powertrain.
